Power Portraits was founded on a simple but powerful belief: every person — from newborns to seniors, from every background and race — deserves to be seen, celebrated, and recognized for their natural beauty.
Phone Photos of Me is our flagship contest, designed to democratize the world of fashion and beauty photography. No professional cameras. No studios. No expensive equipment. Just you, your smartphone, and your authentic self.
Winners are selected by a distinguished panel of professionals from the fashion and beauty industries, and their photos are retouched and published across our marketing, social media, website, and newsletters — giving everyday people the spotlight they deserve.
Contest Rules & Eligibility

Free to Enter
There is absolutely no cost to enter Phone Photos of Me. No purchase, payment, or subscription is required at any time.
Open to All Ages — US Residents Only
Anyone at any age can enter within the USA. Entrants must be located within the United States at the time of submission.
Parental or Guardian Consent Required for Minors
Any entrant under 18 years of age must have their parent or guardian fill out and sign the application and approve a disclosure statement.
Quarterly Contest — 4 Events Per Year
The contest runs every quarter (4 times per year). An entrant can join any of the 4 events. Each group closes on the last day of its final month: Group 1 — January / February / March (closes March 31) Group 2 — April / May / June (closes June 30) Group 3 — July / August / September (closes September 30) Group 4 — October / November / December (closes December 31) We start with Group 4, which closes December 31.
One Photo Per Entry — Smartphone Only
Each entrant may submit one photo per event. The photo must be taken with a smartphone camera and edited only within the camera app. No third-party software may be used to edit the photo.
Photo File Requirements
The submitted photo must be in JPG or PNG format at a minimum resolution of 100 dpi. Watermarks are not allowed.
Original Work Only — No AI Images
The entrant must be the sole creator and copyright owner of the photo. AI-generated images or photographs are not allowed.
Photo Usage Rights
All submitted photos will be used by the organizer to promote Phone Photos of Me in media marketing, both online and in print.
Judging Criteria
Entries are judged based on creativity, attractiveness, technical quality, and composition. The judges' decisions are final.
Prizes
The prizes are the same for each category. Changes will be made as sponsors present themselves and offer unique prizes. All prizes are sent directly to the winners! Current prizes include: (1) A professional photo retouch by Power Portraits, performed by different photo artists — special photos are sent in by the Winners of each category. (2) A T-shirt & Baseball Cap printed with "Power Portraits — Most Attractive, Most Creative, Best Dressed, Most Photogenic of 2026" provided by CREATIVE PINAY. (3) A big tub of Cotton Candy provided by I LUV COTTON CANDY.
Winners Notification
Winners of each named category will be notified immediately after each contest. Results will also be posted on the website.
Parental Consent
Protecting our youngest participants.
The safety and privacy of minors is our highest priority. Any entrant under the age of 18 must have explicit written consent from a parent or legal guardian before their photo can be submitted or considered.
Parents and guardians must review and agree to the full contest rules, including the photo usage rights, on behalf of their child. By providing consent, the parent or guardian confirms they have the legal authority to grant these rights.
Photo Usage Rights
How your photo may be used.
By entering Phone Photos of Me, all participants grant Power Portraits a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, retouch, reproduce, and publish their submitted photograph.
All submitted photos will be used by the organizer to promote Phone Photos of Me in media marketing, both online and in print — including social media platforms, the website, email newsletters, and promotional campaigns.
Power Portraits will always credit participants where possible and will never use submitted photos for purposes outside of contest promotion and marketing.
